Indigenous Engagement Policy

Steelcorp acknowledges and respects the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we operate. We are committed to:

1. Cultural Recognition: Honouring the Bpangerang people of the Wangaratta area and the Dharug people of the Penrith region where our offices are location, recognising their enduring connection to these lands.
2. Respect for Elders: Paying our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of First Nations communities.
3. Active Engagement: Seeking opportunities to engage with Indigenous communities, support local initiatives, and promote cultural awareness within our organisation, reflecting our shareholders' direct ties to Aboriginal heritage.
